NETSCAPE/NUANCE DEMO

Connects the Address Book and the Dialer

Project related information
- Initiated by Lloyd Leanse in May 1997. Based on Remco Teunen's Java interface for the Dialer
- Read the description.
- Uses the Address Book from Netscape's Communicator 4.0.
- Uses the Nuance's Dialer.
- Standalone application that can use OAA.
- Demonstration available since May 1997.
Visibility
- Demonstration on demand.
- Here is an image. It doesn't tell much, but
the main idea is that all the names entered in this Address Book are IMMEDIATELY available in the Nuance dialer database. The AutoPron stuff generates a pronunciation for each new name (Remco calls that the PronFactory).
- The STAR Lab. will shortly have a local copy of the Dialer.
Comments
